What Makes Your State Great Witches & Pagans?

As some of you may have noticed I have been dropping little facts about some of our states.  These are things I found interesting enough to believe that they made these states great.   The reason, because our Wackadoo’s have been doing their little prayer vigil in these states kind of in secret.  If you look at the news papers there are very few reports of them doing anything?  So why are we?

Well Kallan and a few others started a What makes your state great fan page, each day there are posts about what makes a certain state great,  the states are being posted ahead of the state these  (call them whatever you like) are going to be doing their vigils in on the next day, some of us have been doing fast facts, or whatever we can come up with.  I personally have not visited most of these states, but doing research as to what might make these states great has caused me to rethink about visiting some of them.   How many of us in this country have really seen it?  I personally have stayed in, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Upper New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington DC, Michigan.  I have driven through Ohio, but have not spent the night there.  Maybe our next trip we will do that.   Thing is we live in the greatest country in the world, most of us have ancestors that founded the original 13 colonies, and yet when the chance comes we fly to Europe, Italy, France, anywhere but here, why?  Because we live here?  WE may live in the United States, but have we really seen them?   Maybe as we read about what makes each state great, and some of that state’s history, some of us will decide that our next vacation will be in the states instead of out of the country.    Visiting some of these places is also good for our economy.   Each one of these states has something to give, we have just evolved so far from seeing it.   Oh I know, ‘what about the crime?”   Let me tell you a little secret, these other countries have crime just like we do, because we do not live there we do not see it as much.

So the next time you want to take a day trip or just a weekend getaway, pick a state any state and give it a try.  You may just find out what really makes it great to you.

I must apologize to you all for not being able to keep up with the what makes your state great, I have been looking, and adding when I can, even finding some fun kid facts.   Now I know a few of you have looked at what I posted and just said that really doesn’t make a state great.  Honestly it does, every one is saying all the good stuff about the states, all the wonderful things showing fantastic pictures, telling stories if they live in that state, I have found some historical things for a few of the states that I do not remember in the history books, why? Because these are things we would prefer to forget about our country?  Remember everyone, we are calling on energies, and beliefs of the peoples who not just only live there but those who have passed on, and we can’t always get just the ones we call, sometimes we get stragglers, coat tail riding energies that we as well as others suddenly awake.  It’s good to know who all might be out there resting don’t ya think?   The people of each state should be proud of who they are as well as what has been done in the past, how else can we learn if not by our mistakes?  Now do to unexpected work hours, and a pop up school event I was notified of at the last minute I am a little behind.   Again I apologize, and will try to catch up.  I did find one really cool thing out that I wasn’t aware of, some states actually have a state cookie.  That’s just too much.   I also found a list of the cookies that are the most popular in each state at Christmas time.  NO I promised no recipes, so you won’t be getting them, but I will be posting the cookies for each state.

So I am here are the states and dates again, as well as the cookies.

I’m thinking the Pumpkin chocolate chip, and the chewy peanut butter chocolate chip are looking real good.

See ya round the Cauldron
